Today, we present our new financial advisor Dr. Patrick Griss:
After graduating with an M.Sc. in Microtechnology from EPF Lausanne (Switzerland), as well as a Ph.D. in Microsystem Technology from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (Sweden), Dr. Patrick Griss is now an Executive Partner of Zühlke Ventures, a venture capital firm investing in medical device companies in Switzerland, Europe, America, and China.

Today, we present you Robert Frigg:
As an active medical device developer, Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Robert Frigg has spent over 35 years in innovation management positions in the MedTech field. After almost 20 years working in different positions at the AO Foundation, including building up the AO Development Institute. From 1997 to 2003, he worked as VP of Innovation and New Concepts at Mathys Medical. From 2004 to 2012, he was worldwide responsible for technology and innovation as CTO at Synthes Inc., which was later sold to J&J for more than 20 billion USD. Since 2013, Robert Frigg setup and since 2019 owns 41medical, a MedTech company developing solutions for the human musculoskeletal system.
NEW GRANT FROM THE SWISS INNOVATION AGENCY

Our hand-santizer project "Disigel" is receiving further support from the Swiss Innovation Agency (Innosuisse). Together with the Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (EMPA) and the SPIEZ LABORATORY, we will further develop and test the safety and efficacy against Sars-CoV-2.

A school class from the Liceo Artistico Zurich visited our R&D department and labs. The pupils learned about the fascinating world of light-curing materials and could try out our prototypes themselves in the lab.
BRIDGING THE RESEARCH FUNDS
Lumendo CTO and co-founder Mark Bispinghoff is awarded the SNF BRIDGE "Proof of concept" grant for the project “Photopolymerizable, stable hydrogels for medical applications”.
LUMENDO IS AWARDED THE 100K FIT GRANT
Lumendo is awarded the 100k FIT grant. The "Foundation for Technological Innovation" helps funding innovative projects in the canton of Vaud and provides appropriate financial assistance to startups.

SELECTED AS VENTURE LEADER LIFE SCIENCE 2017
Lumendo CEO and co-founder Andreas Schmocker is selected as a Venture Leader Life Science 2017. This enables him to travel to Boston as part of the Swiss National Startup Team to explore the US startup scene and the US dental and medical device market.
ETH PIONEER FELLOWSHIP AWARDED
Lumendo CTO and co-founder Mark Bispinghoff is awarded the ETH Pioneer Fellowship to turn his PhD research into a commercial product. ETH Zürich and the ETH Zürich foundation grants financial support and free lab and office space.
